About Larry Edgar Boxing Club
Our History
Larry Edgar Boxing Club was founded in April, 2023 by Leann Edgar,the wife of the late Larry Edgar, a boxing Coach for 30 years. Larry Edgar passed away in January 2023.
Leaving his wife and many students lost and so confused in their future. Larry was such a dedicated Coach, and never hesitated to stop to listen to someone, to try to help them in anyway. He always found a way to make things better. His passion for boxing was so inspiring, his love for his students so incredible. Larry Edgar had become one of the most respected and Loved Coaches in Kansas City.
The Team got together and created LEBC, taking Coaches garage from an old dirty garage to the beautiful gym it is today. Not forgetting the man that inspired us to continue on with his legacy and his dream to create World Champions. His belief in God and his passion for Boxing is why we are "LEBC"
Our Philosophy
At Larry Edgar Boxing Club, we continue on with the training of Larry Edgar. He believed in what you put out in the gym, hard work discipline, and the ability to be trained would also make you confident in yourself in everyday life. He trained his fighters to never give in to fear in the ring or out of the ring. And to be there for his Team as a Friend and a Coach.
